Re: A Senior Request (Cremsden/Aruithil)

"I was -- oh, I was, wasn't I?" Cremsden said reflectively. "Bought you that awful pink drink." It was the same kind of thing Megin seemed to like so he had figured it would be a hit for a teenage girl. Also it was probably more fruit juice than alcohol so safe enough. "Well. Probably not too young then so let's see what you would need." He gestured to the chair across from his desk, the one with a green and a blue curled up asleep on it. "If you kinda use a file to shoo them off rather than your hands, they probably won't bite."

"I'm eighteen actually," she was quick to remind him.  "You were at my nameday celebration in fact!"  How could he forget!  She did her best to keep her reprimanding tone at bay, she was starting to feel like she sounded more like her mother every day.  "About the Hall... Foreth snorted and lashed her tail. A sure sign of displeasure?

Checking on a Young Queen atten: Kassia/Delysia/Razelth

Brooding a clutch was hard on any Queen, let alone a young, inexperienced one. Kassia made sure that Foreth was kept far from the Caverns to keep her from disturbing the young Queen, even if she was the Senior Queen's grand daughter. Kassia stayed away mostly, too. Giving Delysia some much needed breathing room, but that didn't mean she didn't think about the goldrider frequently. She didn't want to stay away forever, though. So she headed to the Caverns, leaving Brogan behind and taking one of her guards instead.

Kassia whirled on Nayari, her eyes still blazing. If she'd been a dragon, they would have been a deep red.

"Your Candidate assaulted me and keeps calling me a thief." She turned back to the girl. "Hold still and shut up if you know what's good for you."

Cremsden eyed him a moment and then sighed. "Z'go. If that's-- if you had a bad flight the injury will be in a different place," he said, tone still very steady and matter-of-fact. "And we can deal with either, it's not a problem, but I do need to know so that I'm treating the right thing."

Re: Tail-Bone of a Person ( Cremsden / Z'go )

He'd been drinking, and yet it was also right before he got there and yet he didn't appear drunk? Cremsden made a listening-type noise, acknowledging that statement and his pen moved as though noting something down but he was looking Z'go up and down will a long-practised eye, looking for certain signs.

After a moment he set the paper and pen down and moved, visibly and obviously checking the door was shut - *demonstrating* it was shut, perhaps - before turning back to Z'go.

"Z'go," he started carefully. "You need to know that while you are in this room I am your Healer and nothing you say leaves this room except in the very rare case where it is necessary for your or someone else's safety - in which case it would be passed up to K'ren and *he* would take all the care in the world to ensure it remained private." This was a long-practised speech, and Z'go was not the first and would not be the last to need to hear it. "If it is something embarrassing then you will never hear about it except when I am dealing with it *as* your Healer, and otherwise it will not exist. But.. I cannot help you without knowing truthfully what the injury is."

"Ah." Well, not quite what he'd expected but not a completely out-of-the-park occurrence for this particular patient. Cremsden nodded. "How long ago was the fight?" he asked. "Any other injuries resulting?"

Re: (Razelth's Clutch) Serenading the Queen: A Montage (ATTN: Razelth, Any)

Val had found what he was looking for: a simple wooden flute. As he held the object in his hands, he thought of his mother and knew he needed to do this. The Candidate made his way back into the area the dragon had made her clutch.

He had never been in the presence of a gold dragon before. Razelth seemed to almost glow to him. She radiated a power that the boy had never known previously, and he responded with the only gesture that made sense to him. He bowed before the magnificent creature.

"My name is Valouran. I am not sure whether I'm worthy of being in your presence or the presence of your eggs, but I wanted to give you a gift." Pulling out his wooden flute, Val sat down and crossed his legs. "This is a song my mother used to play for me to calm me down or help me sleep. I hope you enjoy it."

Putting his lips to the instrument, Valouran began to blow. The melodic tone that filled the air was one of deep emotion. He played this song for his mother and the dragon. While it wasn't perfect, due to his absence of playing for two years, he quickly picked up and remembered the subtle tricks she taught him. After several moments the song had finished. Val looked into the dragon's eyes but could see no inclination of her feelings on the song.

Slowly he stood up and again bowed before departing.

"Thank you again for allowing me this honor."

The dragon took off and Leodred watched them go.  With a heavy sigh the candidate grabbed his bag and swung it over his shoulder and made his way into the candidate barracks.  It took him about a quarter of an hour to fin the ACM offices (he had refused to ask for any help).  Once he reached one he knocked on the door and waited to be allowed in to report himself for candidacy or whatever it was that he was supposed to be doing.

"Enter!" A sharp voice called from inside. When the door opened it was to reveal a fairly elderly man behind a desk, staring at the doorway with a faint frown. "Yes?"
