Re: BANG! Hircoth Appears! Trouble Arrives in Arolos (R'vbor, Kassia)

Foreth grunted. ((Do you ever shut up?)) she asked.

"Nice to meet you both," Kassia said politely, though she wasn't sure she felt that was the truth at all. "What brings you to Arolos?"

Re: The Promised Land! (Reitz, Kalain)

"Whers are popular down here due to Callamere," Kalain said. "And they're really not all that small. Plus the Weyrwoman I think made them something of a fad when she started using one as her personal guard. And then they started the Wherguard, which is a special group that works together as guards for the Weyr."

"One of the other ACMs," T'rif said vaguely. "I wanted to get to know more about you and what you think about being here?"

Re: Post Flight Waking atten: R'lian/T'rif

"Uh...hello..." T'rif said, looking rather embarrassed. He couldn't place the rider's name. At least he was polite.

Re: Bronze on Bronze (D'cul, I'des)

D'cul had to chuckle and eye Sunstreath a bit before looking back to I'des. "Are you sure he's a bronze and not a gold that just looks like a bronze? He sounds like a queen."

Re: Let's Go Riding Atten: Erena/Kashara

"And what do you enjoy, Erena?" Kashara asked. "Besides writing?" She was glad the girl was talking more now.

{{Big and gorgeous, I bet you have killer clutches,}} Hircoth continued to praise Foreth as though totally unaware of the entire lack of effect he was having on her. {{Probably a dozen gold babies to your name.}}

R'vbor was unable to stop his grin as he was chastised, still looking like a shite-eating child. "Sure, Weyrwoman. I'm R'vbor from Ista, and that's Hircoth."

The messy haired boy nodded as he listened. "I see... I'm curious to finally get to properly meet one. That queen was gorgeous but I didn't get to interact with her much. Which, you know, for the best since she doesn't know me. I like my arms where they are. Fascinating that a guard would prefer a small wher over a big one, but maybe that's a guard thing. I'm really surprised that so many riders have them. Is there a reason for it?"

GREENFLIGHT: Let's Make a New Legend (W'rian/Rorrecath, any) #green

Ren

ooc: Set a few days after Mareeth's flight

Bright, warm, breezy, why this place was just like hom! Those were Rorrecath's first thoughts upon emerging over Arolos. She was extremely happy about this move since her rider was calmer, and now with this sun and the weather, oh it was too much!

On her back, W'rian stared in shock as he watched her hide start to glow brighter and brighter. "Oh... oh no... nononononno don't do this not now!" he begged his green to no avail. Rorrecath at least had the thoughts to dive down and dump W'rian on the ground and let him remove her straps before shooting up with a scream.

{{I am Rorrecath, and I am here! Who has a bold heart to come for me?}}

"Rorrecath, what- where am I- I DON'T KNOW WHERE TO GO!" W'rian shouted up at his uncaring dragon. He stood there whimpering and holding her harness and his luggage, looking lost. "Oh man, this is bad, uh... Man do I just wait here for someone or..." W'rian's head looked back and forth as he felt a familiar heat starting in his guts. "Well I can't just stand here in the middle of the Weyrbowl." He began to drag his load off to the wall, praying someone would come find him and assist him to a flightroom, a closet, a dark hole to bury himself in. You know. Sensible places.

{{I am Rorrecath!}} The bright green screamed again. {{Which of you pretty boys wants to go toe-to-toe with me?!}}

"By whom?" she asked, unable to stop herself even as she meekly took a seat as he had indicated.

R'lian yawned, stirred, starting to snuggle closer before he woke more fully at the voice. Huh. Whoever it was, was still here. A quick check on one very smug Mareeth, and he knew. And stopped shifting closer, in case.

"Good," a large yawn, "morning, bronze rider T'rifoshe."

"That's how it should be," Erena commented as the gelding followed almost without her prompting. "You're doing something you enjoy."

Post Flight Waking atten: R'lian/T'rif

sailyn2

Somewhere around late afternoon T'rif awoke. Shaking off the fog, he realized that he was in one of the flight rooms. And not alone. He looked over. Another male. Thankfully for R'lian, he wasn't one of those bronzers that freaked out when he ended up in bed with another male. He didn't even mind the occasional romp with another man, though he didn't go out of his way for it.

"Uh, hello?"

"The message said you wanted to see me," Yiyu said, stepping in and observing the room in one quick glance. She hesitated, standing just back from his desk, hands clasped in a gesture her friends would recognize as the Candidate at her most nervous.

Oachayth fell anyway, overshooting the entwined dragons with a noisy bugle, and caught himself at the last moment, wings unfurling to stop him from crashing into the ground. As the ache of Flight faded into a dull throb to match his old scars, he straightened out and coasted over the hunting grounds. The loss did not bother him; greens chose well, and they chose often, and his turn would come again soon.

His rider, though, was not so calm; he would fly awhile, and hunt, while she sated herself elsewhere.

(OOC: if any losers want to wake up in bed with Sahari, lemme know and I will arrange the ultimate walk of shame back to your weyr.)

Kasheth bugled his triumph and caught the green, twining and flaring his wings to slow them as they fell in their mating embrace.

T'rif turned, caught up in mating lust, and pulled R'lian into his arms.

OOC: Black curtain.

Re: The Promised Land! (Reitz, Kalain)

"Oh, trust me they're good at guarding," Kalain assured her. "They have special guards who use them and a lot of the goldriders and rankers use them. That's part of the reason they want them smart and because they're smaller and sleaker, they can move through the inside of the Weyr and such easier. They're good in the shafts, too."
